What stays on your device

Your selected apps and Apple Family Controls tokens, detailed Screen Time information, raw movement and Health data, exact step counts, early-end reason, and detailed commitment internals stay on your devices. Awke does not upload them to its social service.

Data used for private groups

Solo use does not require an account. If you create or join a group, Awke stores the account identifier supplied through Sign in with Apple, your display name, Apple-provided email or private relay address when available, time zone, subscription status, group membership, invite metadata, push token, fixed reactions, moderation reports, and privacy-safe commitment outcomes.

Friends may see the shared plan and your outcome, such as finished, active, missed, no result, or ended early. They never receive your selected app identities, detailed usage, Health samples, motion traces, exact steps, or private reason for ending early.

How data is used

Awke uses this data only to operate accounts, private groups, subscriptions, invite links, reactions, notifications, abuse controls, support, and the commitment features you choose. Awke does not sell personal data and does not include third-party advertising or cross-app tracking SDKs.

Service providers

Apple provides Sign in with Apple, App Store subscriptions, notifications, Screen Time controls, and optional motion or Health access. Cloudflare processes network requests and runs the API. Neon hosts the database. These providers process data needed to deliver their services under their own terms and privacy commitments.

Retention and deletion

Local product state remains on your device until you delete it or reset the app. Social account data remains while your account exists. Invite links stop working after 14 days by default. You can delete your Awke account in Settings; this removes the account and associated profile, memberships, owned groups, outcomes, reactions, sessions, and push tokens. Safety reports may be retained without your account identifiers when needed to investigate abuse or meet legal obligations.

Your choices

You can deny or revoke Screen Time, motion, Health, notification, and nearby-device access in system settings. Movement is optional: the timer continues normally without it. You can use Awke without a social account, leave groups, delete local history, or delete your account in the app.
